My first customer for the book has been a sports association who wanted to give a copy of 1666 to all of the guests at an upcoming provincial event in Ontario. An order of 150 books was delivered today, one day ahead of schedule.

An unfortunate issue led me to once again engage CreateSpace’s great customer support team. Out of the few boxes that arrived containing my books. One of them had been damaged in shipment, and had been exposed to the weather in the UPS truck; 20 books were water damaged.

The issue took literally less than five minutes to resolve on the phone. A brief recounting of the facts had the CreateSpace service agent apologizing (not necessary but appreciated) and confirming that 20 replacement books would be sent out with next day shipping. I didn’t even have to ask.

This continues the trend of CreateSpace exceeding my expectations with customer service. I’m very pleased with the process, I’m going to use them again the future, and I can recommend them if you’re thinking of publishing your own book.
